Hazel’s Footprints Trust was established with an aim to support access to education for children in Low and middle-income countries. We are interested in providing grants to a small number of projects each year. While varied in nature, all projects supported to date have access to education at their core, be that in helping prepare and motivate children to learn, creating and equipping effective environments for learning or helping to address specific learning needs. Examples include projects to provide a school with IT equipment, build a library, build and refurbish classrooms, build a school kitchen and fund specific educational programmes.

Grants to charities will be on a matching funding basis only so that if the applicant has raised 50% of their budget the Trustees will consider awarding matching funding up to a maximum of 50%. However, if the applicant has raised less than 50% of their budget the Trustees will only consider awarding a maximum of 30% funding.
