Location:: Mainly ODA-eligible Small Island Developing States and low-income countries.. Other ODA-eligible countries considered for exceptionally ambitious proposals.
Grant Size:: Up to USD $250,000 over up to 24 months
Eligibility:: INGOs, national NGOs, community-based and Indigenous Peoples' organisations, universities, and research institutes working in ODA-eligible low-income countries.

Catalytic, innovative projects that remove barriers to scaling ecosystem-based adaptation (EbA) to climate change. Focus on institutional and technical capacity, evidence and data, knowledge exchange, and investment readiness. Encouraged topics include pipeline preparation for large-scale climate finance, EbA technologies, applied research and links with other nature-based solution initiatives. Projects must build on existing work, not be standalone or purely field implementation.
