In this session, we heard expert advice on the common mistakes made in funding applications and how to avoid them from expert fundraising consultant Linnea Renton. 

Linnea has over 20 years of experience in the global solidarity sector, including 6 years as Executive Director of the Wales-based Egmont trust. She has written numerous successful funding applications and advised the Waterloo Foundation and United Purpose on their grant-giving processes. 

She sees the development of strong funding proposals as an integral part of building international solidarity and ethical partnerships.
