The Waterloo Foundation gives grants to organisations in both the UK and world-wide, particularly in the areas of the disparity of opportunities and wealth and the unsustainable use of the world’s natural resources, both the global community and the local community here in Wales. Funding for the global community is in the areas of sexual reproductive health, nutrition, education, water and sanitation, the environment (marine and tropical rainforests), child development. Funding for Wales focuses on unpaid carers, equity in education and pathways out of poverty.

Internet Society Connecting the Unconnected

USD $15,000-$40,000 to build new complementary access solutions to connect the unconnected. USD $5,000-$20,000 to expand or improve existing complementary access solutions.

Communities and organisations applying must have a clearly identified responsible party for the project, local community support, a sustainability plan, and a goal of connecting local infrastructure to the Internet. Organisations must have an official bank account in their name.
