Through the VP grants, instead of funding specific projects, the NAF prioritizes organisations with a clear vision and mission and a track record of results. This granting programme does not prioritize one area of intervention over another, nor does it favour large organisations over smaller ones. It simply is looking for organisations with creative solutions to local problems. The Fund supports organisations with a clear mission and gives them the tools to grow and develop exponentially through the Venture Philanthropy (VP) grants. The VP grants provide stable funding with the idea that these organisations will be able to use that time to grow and become sustainable.
