Annual grants to support democratic goals and strengthen democratic institutions globally. Supports human rights, freedom of information, independent media, civic education, transparency, anti-corruption, civil society strengthening, and freedom of association. Projects must take place outside the US and other established democracies. UK-based organisations working in eligible countries may apply.
