Projects supporting access to education for women and girls and projects enabling rural and/or displaced communities to become more self-sufficient.

Eligibility

Organisations must be registered in Malawi as an NGO, CBO or Youth Organisation and meet the following requirements: be registered with NGORA, Ministry of Gender, or National Youth Council; have an annual income not exceeding £250,000 (c $300,000); have been operating for at least one year with accounts for that period; have a minimum of four trustees/board members who are not related to employees or each other; provide a reference from a previous or current funder; and have a bank account in the organisation’s name capable of receiving USD $. UK registered organisations may apply if their work in Malawi is governed and delivered locally.
