Grant Size:: Early-stage track: USD $200k–USD $10m, over up to 24 months; Full seed track: USD $10m–USD $50m+, over up to 36 months
Eligibility:: Open to individuals with a strong proposal, early-stage fund teams, existing funds seeking to scale, other funders or incubators, and implementing organisations willing to take full ownership of a problem area.

This funding is not aimed at NGOs seeking funding for their own programmes. Applicants are expected to run a fund that regrants to others, or, in some cases, to own an entire problem area directly. It funds the creation of new funds, or the scaling of existing ones that address significant underfunded problems in global health and wellbeing. Each fund must be led by one person accountable for solving the target problem, rather than simply distributing grants. There are two funding tracks: an earlier-stage track to develop the idea and team, and a full seed track for funds ready to launch or expand.

Location:: Low- and lower-middle-income countries. Applicants must be based in a country receiving Official Development Assistance (ODA) from the OECD DAC.
Grant Size:: Up to USD $10,000 for a single organisation, up to USD $20,000 for joint applications between two or more organisations.
Eligibility:: Local civil society organisations, groups, or social movements (formal or informal) working to expand civic/democratic freedoms in the digital age. Priority to underrepresented or marginalised actors. Must have an organisational bank account and demonstrated ability to manage grant funds. Organisations that received CIVICUS Crisis Response Fund money within the previous two years are not eligible.
