Fundraising for health in challenging times

HealthShared Learning Event Online event Zoom Register
An icon of the earth with a hearbeat line across the it, surrounded by small icons of the £ sign, hearts and pluses.

Global Health Partnerships Cymru, hosted by Hub Cymru Africa, invites you to an online shared learning event focused on fundraising and sustainable financing in the health sector.

This event comes at a critical time when global funding is declining, aid budgets are being cut, and many charity and health organisations are struggling to deliver essential services. These challenges are placing lives at risk, particularly in low resourced communities.

The session will provide practical learning on how to engage donors, demonstrate impact, and build strong relationships with funders. It will explore different funding models, grant application experiences, and approaches to resource mobilisation, including working with politicians and philanthropists.

The event is open to health professionals, researchers, students, and anyone committed to global health equity and solidarity.
