Trustee Treasurer

About the organisation

CAENDON is an organisation devoted to sustainable development and community improvement in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.  It is based in North Wales.

About the role

CAENDON has an immediate need for a trustee treasurer or financial administrator.

Key accountabilities:

  • Keeping financial records
  • Monitoring bank transactions
  • Approving release of funds
  • Producing annual financial statements
  • Helping project managers maintain project accounts

The role is voluntary and unsalaried.

About you

You will have the following skills or experience:

  • Bachelors degree or higher or be an Accounting professional or have previous background as a treasurer
  • Good with numbers
  • Familiar with Microsoft tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Team player
  • A marketing background would be useful but not essential

The charity is based in North Wales but this role can be done remotely. You must live in the UK, preferably in Wales.
