D-Prize

Eligibility:: For-profit ventures, NGOs, and charities may apply. D-Prize is for new organisations. Most of our awardees are first-time entrepreneurs. We will consider applications from existing organisations only if your core focus is distributing an existing and evidence-based poverty intervention. Typically no support if already operating for more than 18 months or have raised over USD$30,000 USD in funding

We seed new organisations distributing proven poverty solutions, all aiming to scale. We award startup grants of up to USD$20,000 to entrepreneurs launching new organisations. We believe the world needs more social impact organisations, and we seed for-profit ventures, NGOs, and charities. We support organisations in any low- or middle-income country where extreme poverty still exists.

Grant Size:: U.S. USD $7,000 – USD $20,000 Size will depend on annual budget, nature of activities and whether the organisation is already known to the GFCF.
Eligibility:: Community philanthropy organisations, community foundations, women’s funds, environmental funds, national public foundations, grassroots grant makers, and any other kinds of organisations that identify with the concept and practice of community philanthropy may apply.

Eligibility:: The BWCF focuses its support on financially healthy children's charities where funding is not forthcoming from statutory bodies, where incomes and fund balances are constantly put to good use and where administration overheads are kept to a minimum.
