The Philip Henman Trust
Type of project: Grants for UK-based charities carrying out long term overseas development projects which provide a lasting beneficial impact for the people, communities or environment they seek to help. The Trust now spends all of its available grant expenditure on projects that are of a duration of three-to-five years and which are operated by major UK charities for projects committed to education, skills development, the development of basic infrastructure and technology. The Trust generally accepts two new long-term grantees per year.
Eligibility: UK registered charities with an expenditure of over £100,000 per year may apply.
Grant size: £3,000 – £5,000 per year up to a maximum £25,000 over 5 years. we require that our grant covers between 20% and 80% of the total project budget.
