The Mérieux Foundation – Small Grants Program

Type of project:  Projects focused on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases (HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria, hepatitis, neglected tropical diseases and other infectious diseases representing significant public health issues). Projects must propose concrete solutions which go beyond education and raising awareness while taking a global approach to health, including physical, social and psychological aspects and which focus on mothers and children.

Location: Algeria, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Djibouti, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Niger, Rwanda, Sao Tome & Principe, Tunisia, Senegal, Togo.

Eligibility: Must be registered with the authorities of the country for at least three years, with a non-profit and independent management. Only projects implemented by local organizations will be studied.

Grant size:  Up to €5,000

Closing date:  1 August
