Standard Chartered Foundation (SCF)
Type of project: Covid-19 economic recovery projects delivered by NGOs dedicated to supporting young people adversely affected by Covid-19 with a specific focus on 1) women and people with visual impairments and 2) projects which can provide opportunities through youth employment or support micro and small businesses to begin operating again. Applicants must demonstrate a strong track record in achieving outcomes through education, employability and/ or entrepreneurship programming and have experience working with our target groups.
Location: SCF is looking for up to four strategic NGO partners to co-develop and deliver projects in at least four countries including:
Africa & Middle East – Bahrain, Botswana, Cote D’Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Mauritius, Nigeria, Pakistan, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, United Arab Emirates, Zambia, Zimbabwe
Asia – Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam
Europe & America – United Kingdom, United States
Eligibility: Registered charities or not-for-profit organisations may apply. Governments or political bodies are ineligible.
Grant size: Total fund value $USD9.4 million with each project budget set between USD100,000 to USD300,000.
