Schroder Charity Trust

Type of project: The trust provides grants to charities for work which falls under the following categories: ‘Arts, Culture and Heritage’, ‘Education, Training and Employment’, ‘Environment and Conservation’, ‘Health and Wellbeing’, and ‘Strengthening Communities’. The trustees are particularly interested in applications which can demonstrate an understanding of how to engage with beneficiaries, which maximise use of volunteers, provide value for money, and produce replicable and sustainable work. They are also interested in applications which can provide support for elderly, marginalised, or vulnerable people.

Applications can be made at any time, but decisions are made biannually – usually around June and November.

Eligibility: Charities registered in the UK. Charities that work internationally are eligible but must still be registered in the UK. Animal welfare and politically-oriented charities are ineligible.
