Type of project:  Stage 1 applications for the Climate Change and Forced Displacement Programme are being accepted. Our objective is to increase the climate resilience of displaced people and their host communities. We do this by funding initiatives that help the two communities to adapt to climate change while also promoting environmental recovery and protection. All proposals must fulfil all three of the following criteria: Deliver tangible improvements in the quality of life of displaced people and the host community; Have a positive impact on the natural environment (protection or restoration); Foster positive engagement between displaced people and their host community.

Location: Worldwide excluding the UK

Eligibility: Registered non-profit organisations (charities, social enterprises) and organisations with an annual income of less than £10 million may apply. We require three years of audited financial accounts and annual reports for organisations outside of the UK.

Grant size: £60,000 over up to 3 years. This can include an appropriate share of core costs.
