Indigenous Peoples Assistance Facility (IPAF)
Type of project: Projects should be designed by indigenous peoples, building on their culture, knowledge, natural resources, and human rights. The focus should be on advancing indigenous peoples’ conservation and sustainable management of biodiversity for adaptation and resilience to climate change. Projects should also be based on the principle of Indigenous Peoples’ self-determined development within the framework of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
Location: Asia and the Pacific, Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean
Eligibility: Indigenous Peoples’ communities and organisations
Grant size: Between US$20,000 – US$70,000
Deadline: 27th September 2022
