elrha – Research for Health in Humanitarian Crises
Type of project: In early 2021, the R2HC programme will launch a special funding call for research proposals with the potential to create transformative change to health response within the humanitarian sector. These research proposals must address one or more priority humanitarian health evidence gaps and be of sufficient scale or complexity to justify the high grant value. Strategic partnerships between researchers, including in the country(s) where research will be conducted, with humanitarian practitioners, and with end users of research findings will be critical.
Eligibility: Lead applicants must have considerable experience of managing large (i.e., multi-million GBP) research grants in humanitarian contexts, and demonstrate they are able to meet our core due diligence requirements. The study team must include academic partners from each of the countries/regions in which research will be conducted.
Grant size: £1-3 million
