In this workshop, we will explore how small organisations can use digital tools to support collaboration with partners in Africa.
Guest speakers will include Giacomo Ciriello, Project Manager and Course Coordinator at Bees for Development, a global charity based in Monmouth that promotes sustainable beekeeping to combat poverty, build resilient livelihoods and benefit biodiversity.
This event is funded through The Waterloo Foundation.
Giacomo works at Bees for Development and with NGOs in Ghana and Zimbabwe, supporting people in rural communities to generate vital income by keeping bees and selling honey and beeswax. He specialised in apicultural value chain development over the course of his PhD studies at the University of Bristol. He is a beekeeper and horticulturalist living in south Wales.
