Join us as we learn about the perspective of SCCF grant managers MannionDaniels as they share with us their views and insights on topics including GESI, disability inclusion, Value For Money and Partnership working in grant applications.
MannionDaniels will focus the Lunch and Learn discussion on the areas Small Challenge Charity Fund (SCCF) applicants have often fallen down on in applications (particular topic areas like GESI and disability inclusion as well as Value For Money).
It is important to note that the SCCF has been impacted by the cuts and so is no longer open – however the information that Laura can share as a grant assessor with give our audience a huge insight into how to develop and write successful grant applications.
From the 17th to the 21st of May 2021, we are delighted to welcome a host of funders and professional bid writers who will share the secrets of good grant writing directly with you. Over the course of the week, you will have a chance to join webinars with grant managers to hear hints and tips from expert fundraisers.
Not only that, but we’re offering the chance to match you with either a grant manager or fundraiser who will be able to give you a FREE, 45 minute, one to one advice session.
The aim of this week-long event is to give you and your organisation insight into the perspectives of professional fundraisers and the expectations of grant givers. This will help you strengthen your approach – from planning and developing projects to put it down on paper in a grant application or letter of appeal.
Who is this for?
This event is open to all individuals, community groups, or charities based in Wales who work or support work overseas. We welcome volunteers, trustees and staff – whoever is responsible for project development and making funding applications. We strongly encourage you to invite your partners in Africa or across the globe to join.
