Hub Cymru Africa, WCIA , and the BOMB are hosting a market in a celebration of Welsh entrepreneurship and global solidarity on 25th and 26th November from 11am to 4pm.
Join us as we shop for gifts from boutiques and market stall holders you won’t meet on the high street. The market will host food stalls, handmade gifts and stocking fillers, plastic-free products, beauty and wellbeing treats, pre-loved goods, as well as Fair Trade crafts and foods.
On Saturday 26th November, we will hold a panel discussion on ethical consumerism, be entertained by local talent, and welcome Santa, who will take a break from his busy schedule to visit us at the Temple of Peace.
Santa will be in his grotto on Saturday from 11am to 4pm. Your child will receive a Fair Trade chocolate and you will get a free digital photo. Please click on the button below to let us know if want to meet Santa.
What is ethical consumerism? And can our choices really make a difference? These are the questions that four panellists will try to answer on Saturday at 1pm. They will share their top tips on whom to support, where to buy goods, and what to boycott, while suggesting simple actions we can all take to help tackle inequality, injustice, and climate change.
We don’t need a handful of people doing zero waste perfectly. We need millions of people doing it imperfectly. — Anne Marie Bonneau.
Spaces are limited for this panel discussion, so please click on the button below to register your interest.
Also on Saturday, 11-year-old singer Luchia Ellul-Alimikhena and spoken word artist Amaris Powell will entertain us as we shop.
Stalls can still be requested via this online form or by emailing enquiries@hubcymruafrica.org.uk with your name and phone number.
