Research commissioned by Hub Cymru Africa tracking public engagement with global poverty and sustainable development has found that Wales is more engaged than the rest of the UK. 22% of the Welsh public are considered ‘Purposively Engaged’, compared with only 19% in the UK overall.

Hub Cymru Africa, a partnership supporting the Wales Africa Community, commissioned the research to better understand what motivates people in Wales to build global solidarity and what is important to us as a nation. In this live webinar, Claire O’Shea, Head of Partnership at Hub Cymru Africa, will discuss the research, its findings and what it means for the future of the global solidarity sector and movement in Wales.
