Antimicrobial stewardship in global health partnerships
Come along to learn, share experience, and network at this collaborative learning symposium focusing on antimicrobial stewardship.
At this event by the Wales and Africa Health Links Network, in conjunction with Swansea University, attendees will hear from the Wales-Malawi health partnership about their experiences in antimicrobial stewardship. Attendees will also learn how to apply these principles in their own work to prevent antimicrobial resistance.
At this event, we will also hear about the Global Point Prevalence Survey of Antimicrobial Consumption and Resistance, and how you can use this to assess problems in infection and use of antimicrobials in your work. We will also hear how this has been used in hospitals and health care settings in Uganda and elsewhere, and the learning from these experiences.
Tools and resources will be shared, including online training packages which can be used collaboratively with partners working in low resource settings.
There will be plenty of opportunities for sharing your own experiences, asking questions, and to network with colleagues.
