Annually, on December 3rd, deaf and disabled people worldwide celebrate the IDPWD (sometimes known as the IDPD or IDDP), promoting their lives and aspirations. This year Disability in Wales and Africa (DWA) and Hub Cymru Africa (HCA) are hosting a webinar highlighting “the importance of inclusion” by hearing directly from Kenyan, Ugandan and Welsh deaf and disabled people, the event plans to examine:
- Why inclusion is so important?
- What happens when inclusion does not take place?
- How inclusion can be implemented?
