Welsh Government’s International Learning Opportunities (ILO) Programme
The ILO scheme, which sends people from Wales on 8-week placements in Uganda, Namibia, Lesotho and now Somaliland has reopened for applications. The projects below are just an indication of the sorts of placements that can be expected. More detailed job descriptions will appear here in due course.
Lesotho
This is only postgraduate education programme in Lesotho. It was established in partnership with Boston University, USA, and is managed by the Lesotho Ministry of Health. There are active links with the USA through the Lesotho Boston Health Alliance (LeBoHA) and with Wales through Dolen Cymru Lesotho and the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) Wales.
