Join us in the Welsh Parliament building – the Senedd – as we celebrate the Wales and Africa Community and the work it does in global solidarity.

This event will be an opportunity to celebrate the successes and reflect on the challenges of the past three years as partnerships between Wales and Africa have worked to support communities and build a better life for everyone.

It will also be an opportunity to showcase the diverse and important work of the sector, network with colleagues, funders and policy makers, and eat some good food!

Special guests include speeches from the First Minister of Wales Mark Drakeford, the Minister for Social Justice Jane Hutt and performances by the iconic Newport-based Zimbabwean Ladies’ Choir, ZimVoices, and N’famady Kouyaté, master musician from Guinea (Conakry), now based in Cardiff, with the Successors of the Mandingue ensemble.
