Hub Cymru Africa is excited to announce that later this year, we’ll be launching a brand new project – Springboard – funded with UK aid from the UK government.
Small, voluntary led organisations in Wales often struggle to professionalise to the standards required to gain larger grants. We are also seeing a negative trend in public participation in solidarity with Global Development.
Springboard aims to provide support to increase organisations’ knowledge and improve practices in project development and charity governance. The aim is also to enable organisations to access training, resources and tools.
Participants will be able to get involved in five different ways:
- 8-week online learning course(s)
- Cluster groups – shared learning communities
- ‘Meet the Funder’ online event
- Shared Learning Events with practitioners on the continent
- Campaign on the Case for Solidarity
As always, the support Hub Cymru Africa is offering is free to any organisation or individual based in Wales working in solidarity or International Development. We are excited to announce that this project’s support is not limited to those working in Sub-Saharan Africa and we welcome those whose work takes place anywhere in the world to get involved.
