The Wales Africa Awards; celebrating the Wales Africa and Fair Trade communities in Wales

Are you, or people you know, running an amazing project?

If so, we’d like to recognise and celebrate your work!

Along with our partners, we want to recognise the huge contribution individuals, community groups and small charities in Wales make towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. We want to celebrate the growing development sector in Wales and highlight some of the amazing achievements we’ve seen and heard about over the last few years.

We are looking for outstanding projects or initiatives that are helping to make life better for communities in Africa or are raising awareness of these issues in Wales.

Your stories matter!

We want to hear your story and the difference you have made to the lives of people you have worked with. You can nominate your own group or the work of another group you have been really impressed by. You can nominate, or be nominated for, more than one category. Final decisions on awards will be made by an independent group of experts in development from both inside and outside Wales.

You don’t have to be a Hub Cymru Africa grant recipient to qualify. We’d love to hear from groups we haven’t been able to fund yet! We’re looking for inspiring examples under the following 10 categories.
